Customer Pro

CRM add-on

Installing apps

Switch the CRM and Notes on for your workspace, or hide them from your own menu.

On this page

Some parts of Customer Pro are apps your workspace chooses to run. The CRM and Notes are the first two. Until someone installs an app, nobody in the workspace sees it: there is no menu entry, it is missing from search, and its pages do not open. Everything else in the product works the same whether or not they are installed.

What each app adds #

Field What it does
CRM A CRM entry under Sell in the sidebar with four tabs: Pipeline, Companies, Tasks and Reports. Each contact also gets its own page with a full history.
Notes A Notes entry pinned at the bottom of the sidebar, a private notebook for each person, and a quick-capture shortcut on every page.

Install or uninstall an app #

  1. Open Settings → Apps

Every app is shown as a card with what it includes and whether it is installed.
  2. Press Install

The app appears for everyone in the workspace straight away. Custom roles you made earlier are given the new Deals, Companies and Tasks permissions, so nobody has to re-edit them.
  3. Uninstall when you no longer need it

Press Uninstall on the card and confirm. The app disappears for everyone, but its deals, tasks and notes are kept for a later reinstall.

Hide an app for yourself #

If your workspace runs the CRM but you never use it, press Hide for me on its card. It leaves your sidebar and search, and nothing changes for your teammates. Links to CRM pages that someone sends you still open. Press Show again to bring it back.

Where to go next #

Frequently asked

Does uninstalling delete my deals, tasks or notes?
No. Uninstalling hides the app and its pages from everyone in the workspace. Everything it held is kept, and installing it again brings it all back.
Who can install or uninstall an app?
The owner and admins. Anyone can hide an installed app from their own menu, which changes nothing for their teammates.
Why can I not see the CRM?
Either nobody in your workspace has installed it, you hid it for yourself, or your role does not include the Deals, Companies or Tasks permissions. Open Settings → Apps to check the first two.
